Web Browsers a new breed. Better, Faster and More Secure.
The new breed of web browsers loads pages faster! If you are still using Internet Explorer 7 or an earlier version you really need to read this article now! New browser versions are optimized to perform better and they are more secure. When I installed Google’s Chrome when it first came out I was shocked at how fast it loaded and ran. I have heard claims of loading pages 50% faster. They were one of the first ones out with a super fast browser. Others have now caught on and have greatly improved the speed and much more. It’s going to be a tough call to tell which is the fastest now.

Which browser is the fastest? It’s anyone’s guess and depends on what version you are running and who just came out with a recent update. There are tons of variables that influence speeds . FireFox is always looking for ways to make browsing easier and more efficient. FireFox has developed what they call an “Awesome Bar” and an auto complete function. If you do not remember the web site name just start typing and it will start to include possible matches from your browsing history, bookmarked sites and tabs you have open. FireFox has “Add-ons”. These are functions that allow you to customize and enhance FireFox. One of my favorite add-ons is Addblock. Addblock allows you to take control of annoying ads and banners.
FireFox tends to push out new releases for their software frequently. As of this writing Version 7 is just out. It contains a more Chrome like feature that hides the “http:// “, an improved WebSocket protocol – this is mainly for apps needing to communicate back to the host or server frequently. The new protocol greatly speeds up communication. Games will see a big improvement. Also added is improved memory handling.
